We’re going to introduce you to a beautiful Leicestershire wedding venue, Prestwold Hall is really one to pop on your list of venues to check out.
Situated in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, Prestwold Hall and its brilliantly maintained grounds offer a couple an idyllic background to their wedding day. The location is a 10-minute drive from the centre of Loughborough. It’s easily accessible; close to railways, motorways and East Midlands Airport. It’s surrounding grounds gives the wedding party the privacy they need to enjoy the big day. The venue has been a private residence for over 350 years. The hall is still home to the Packe-Dury-Lowe family, there is a definite welcoming aura about the place.
With over 28 years of experience organising weddings, your in safe hands. The venue can deliver civil ceremonies on the grounds too, at their Parish Church of St Andrews for up to 140 guests. Prestwold Hall also recently introduced outdoor civil ceremonies in their stunning Georgian gazebo too. The venue does provide accommodation on site. There are 5 gorgeous double bedrooms with en-suite bath-shower rooms, as well as an adjoining twin room which is ideal for younger guests. If you need more rooms then there are some great hotels in nearby Loughborough.
The venue is managed and catered by elite hospitality, Maverick, who offer a superb selection of menu options. If the couple enjoys good food then they will not be disappointed by the options on offer from the expert chefs at Prestwold. Their menu options have the flexibility to be ‘mix and match’, enabling you to create a menu that suits you best. Alternatively, you can create a bespoke menu for your party and that can be catered to you.

The venue has the option of offering you extra details for your big day. So whether you’d like to arrive in a helicopter, hog roast evening buffet and big band entertainment, making the wedding day as unique and personal to you as possible.
At Jackstar we’d recommend Prestwold Hall as a possible wedding venue due to its great quality food. As well as that its the perfect venue if you enjoy that countryside vibe but want to have the addition of some style too.
