Jack, our wedding DJ, at Kilworth House Hotel in Lutterworth on Saturday evening for Tony and Clair’s wedding reception.
Whilst Tony and Clair, along with their friends and family enjoyed their wedding breakfast at the main hotel, our wedding DJ Jack entered the cellar bar where he set up his DJ equipment for the night.
Being a wedding DJ isn’t just about showing up on the night and playing a few tracks. Here at Jackstar we have an online system where our clients are able to log on and select tracks in advance that should (or shouldn’t!) be played. You can also add notes, for instance, you may request a song for all of the hen’s. Prior to your big day your wedding DJ will then look through tracks that have been selected to get a feel for your musical taste. He will then be able to use his musical knowledge to compile tracks that will work well with your requests so far. Your wedding DJ will also look at the timings for your evening and put together a timeline of events.
At around 7.30pm the newly married Mr and Mrs Hughes, along with their friends and family entered the cellar bar where the evening entertainment began. After introducing himself Jack shortly followed with the announcement of the all-important first dance, encouraging guests to gather around the dance floor area as Tony and Clair took to the floor for the first time as husband and wife.
The night continued from here onwards where our wedding DJ then proceeded to keep a full dance floor.
