Wedding DJ at Cathedral Quarter Hotel, Derby.
Our wedding DJ heads over to the Cathedral Quarter Hotel in Derby for Stephanie and Michael’s big day.
The Cathedral Quarter Hotel is one of the most stunning wedding venues Derby has to offer. The venue makes a real statement about their style. The stunning 1900’s Grade II listed building has been designed to combine traditional character and charm along with the elegant edge of contemporary luxury creating a dramatic backdrop for your celebrations. The hotel has a gorgeous staircase that is guaranteed to make the wow factor on your wedding album.
On Saturday 29th July 2017, following Stephanie and Michael’s wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast, our wedding DJ Rick setup our wedding DJ services during the room turn around. Being familiar with the hotel meant that on the day we knew about the lift access, first-floor setup and how weddings tend to work at the hotel with their only being the one function room.
On the day Rick arrived at the hotel ahead of time to ensure he was ready to enter the room with his DJ equipment. Setting up in a turnaround requires a little extra planning, but this is something that our team of DJ’s are used to now!
At around 7pm, Stephanie, Michael and their guests began to refill the function room ready for the evening reception. Shortly after 8pm, our wedding DJ gathered family and friends before welcoming the newly married couple to the dance floor to take their first dance together as husband and wife. At the bride and grooms request, this was then followed by an upbeat popular track to fill the dance floor!
Thank you, Stephanie and Michael, for choosing team Jackstar to be part of your magical day at the Cathedral Quarter Hotel in Derby. On behalf of the team, I would like to wish you both the very best for a long and happy future together.
