On Friday 5th May 2017 we provided our wedding DJ hire in Quorn for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Smith.
Here at Jackstar we have a small number of handpicked DJ’s that work within our team. On Friday we sent DJ Nigel to The Quorn Country Hotel for Claire and Neil’s big day.
Pre Wedding
Prior to the big day Claire and Neil had access to our online system where they were able to log in to their account and select songs in advance for their DJ. By doing this their wedding DJ, Nigel, was able to gain an insight to Claire and Neil’s musical tastes. The couple selected a small number of songs that they ‘love’ which was a starting point for Nigel!
Ahead of the big day Richard (who looks after the admin side of our bookings) spoke with the bride and groom to gather important information such as what the couple are known as to their family and friends, the time they would like to do their first dance etc as well as offer ideas and advice when needed.
The Big Day!
On the morning of Claire and Neil’s special day a member of our team went over to The Quorn Country Hotel to put Nigel’s DJ equipment into place. On the night Nigel was then able to arrive around 45 minutes before he was due to start playing to plug in his laptop, mixer, and microphone.
From start to finish guests continued to ‘dance the night away’ with Nigel making the important announcements when needed.
Post Wedding
Following Claire and Neil’s wedding I was delighted to have received feedback on our Facebook post complementing our wedding DJ Nigel.
