The Wedding Industry Awards – East Midlands Wedding DJ of the Year 2021
Highly regarded wedding entertainment business Jackstar Weddings scoops East Midlands Wedding DJ of The Year title at The Wedding Industry Awards.
Established in 2011 The Wedding Industry Awards aim to help anyone organising a wedding to make better educated decisions when looking for their suppliers. The annual awards cover all types of wedding suppliers from DJs and Bridal shops to Florists and Venues. Newly married couples vote for and provide feedback on the suppliers they used and the level of service received. The final decision comes down to the judges who are industry experts in their respective fields. They consider the votes and feedback from couples as well as checking out each supplier’s online presence and the business owners answers to industry specific questions.
“It’s been such a difficult year for the industry as a whole so it was a real honour to be recognised by the national awards. We had a small number of weddings earlier this year, before covid struck and it’s thanks to the votes of those couples we were lucky enough to achieve the Wedding DJ of The Year title. If it wasn’t for covid, this year we would have been part of our 1000th wedding celebration so picking up this award will be a huge morale booster for the team as we head into 2021.”

This year’s award ceremony took place online via youtube at the end of November. Hundreds of wedding suppliers from around the country tuned in to watch as the winners were announced. Winners from each of the regions go on to compete in the national finals which take place in the new year.
